I've been fascinated by the night sky since I was six year old, looking for the big dipper with my grandmother.   Much of my stargazing has occurred around 35 degrees north latitude - although I been fortunate enough to have photographed the night sky from Brazil, Florida Keys and the Caribbean seas.

In my lifetime, I've seen two total solar eclipses from cruise ships and a third in my hometown in Dayton, TN.
